Beverage Director
Originally from Brazil, Luciane started her career in restaurants when she moved to New York. In 2014, she worked as beverage manager at The Bridges in Dumbo, quickly becoming a partner. Afterward, she was a server at Eleven Madison Park. In 2016, she strengthened her expertise and passion for Italian viticulture as a wine sales representative for the wine shop, Pasanella & Son Vintners. That same year, she joined Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) as a server at Maialino, the group’s beloved trattoria, eventually becoming a sommelier. Luciane continued her wine education and training as a sommelier at Union Square Cafe, before moving into the role of beverage director at Casa Lever then sommelier at ZZ’s Club. In February 2025, Luciane returned to USHG as Ci Siamo’s Beverage Director.
In her role, Luciane brings her passion for education and storytelling to the restaurant’s Italian-leaning wine program, offering a diverse list of choices to complement Chef Hillary Sterling's menu. At the bar, she's continuing Ci Siamo’s focus on classic Italian cocktails, while offering creative seasonal variations.
