General Manager

Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York, Zach graduated from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) with a bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts.  

In April 2016, Zach moved to New York City and started his career with Union Square Hospitality Group as a server, then floor manager at North End Grill. He continued his work in front-of-house roles across USHG, eventually becoming a floor manager at The Modern, the group’s two Michelin-starred restaurant. After a stint at Union Square Cafe during the pandemic, Zach was then named manager at the soon-to-open Ci Siamo, where he helped lead the restaurant’s service team through a successful opening. The following year, Zach returned to The Modern as assistant general manager, a role he held until April 2025. 

Zach is thrilled to rejoin the team at Ci Siamo as general manager. Working alongside Chef Hillary Sterling, Zach and his team aim to deliver exceptional hospitality and memorable experiences to each and every guest.
